Jei isn't just sushi, its family. they have the best  combination of sushi and service and I go back every weekend, it's the only weekend "plans" I ever know are for sure

A good note tho!! Make sure you go when you are "slightly hungry" jei is almost always packed at dinner time and sometimes there is a little bit of a wait for rolls, so as long as you're prepared to be slightly patient you will have a great time.

Keep in mind that this rating is from someone who does not enjoy sushi. So, I'm not rating the food. (My husband and stepson LOVED everything they tasted.) But maybe this is feedback the restaurant needs. I had a panic attack when we sat down because I didn't see any "non-sushi" menus, but we asked and got one.

Our female server was not attentive at all; she seemed more interested in her phone at the back of the restaurant. Thank goodness for the male server who was paying attention to us and making it a fun experience with his quips. (Sorry I don't know your name, dude, because you were spectacular. I told you you were a delight as we left.)

But anyway, if you don't eat the sushi, you are essentially a second class citizen. You have no all-you-can eat options even though your food is way cheaper to make than sushi. I paid $11 for vegetable Yakisoba; the bowl came out half full. I had to sit twiddling my thumbs while my husband and stepson continued eating since they had all you could eat. Why isn't there some type of munchie to be offered - equivalent to chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant? Just something so I'm not left out. My food was also extremely slow to come out to me.

I know this is a sushi restaurant. But there are people who are going to have to come there because someone they know is dragging them there. It would be nice if they could have as good a time as the sushi eaters.

The sushi eaters got free ice cream. But none for this non-sushi eater.

I have no doubt my husband will be back. But I will beg him to go alone or with someone else so I don't have to go.

I should have just gone across the parking lot, bought some Chinese, and brought it back to Jei. I would have been happier.

Since going here for the first time maybe 2 months ago I have been back about 6+ times now and each time the food has been great.  The service is consistently amazing, the staff is super friendly.

Excellent service from both Janna and Reggie. Great selection, very friendly and superb sushi taste. Definitely recommend this sushi place whether you're here for USAFA or just visiting Colorado Springs. We will be back again! Kudos to the team.

Ate here for the first time and left pretty disappointed. I was hoping it would be good because it's a lot closer to my house than the other sushi place I like but it just wasn't as good. The place was completely empty at lunch time, which should've been my first clue. I did not order all you can eat. Just salmon sushi and a simple
Roll. The crab tasted odd, like it had been left in the refrigerator uncovered. The Tuna sushi had a hot sauce added to it which was not something I would ever want. Salmon was a little chewy. Everything was just okay. Okay service, okay food. Nothing tasted amazing. The bathroom was pretty dirty, especially around the toilet it looked like it had never been cleaned throughly. I would not go back, I'll stick to Kohnami.
